The NC Energy Office is seeking a Legal Specialist for a time-limited (36 months), full-time position, which is funded by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) and thus  will be available on a time-limited basis (up to 36 months). This employee provides legal services that support the ARRA-funded State Energy Program and Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program (collectively, the "Energy Programs"). This employee monitors and oversees legal compliance with ARRA and State requirements, proposes and implements risk reduction practices, provides legal interpretation or ARRA and State laws, rules, regulations, and requirements, and prepares program documents including bid documents, loan and collateral documents, rule filings, process documents, reports, correspondence related to program matters, legal memoranda, and other documents.
